While living in liberal Massachusetts, Manny Sethi tried to work in Obama’s White House, he donated to liberal Democrats, and he supported Obamacare.
He even donated to ActBlue, the left-wing group bankrolling Antifa rioters and Black Lives Matter.
Massachusetts Manny Sethi supported Romneycare and Obamacare, he even co-authored a book that praised European-style socialized health care. While living in liberal Massachusetts, Sethi never registered as a Republican. Instead he served on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Medical Society, which strongly endorsed socialized medicine. In November 2010, Sethi co-authored an article touting Massachusetts’ Romneycare System as a National Model for Insurance Exchanges. Sethi‘s Massachusetts Medical Society supported Obamacare, issuing a press release stating “Strong Support for President Obama’s Commitment to Pass Health Care Reform.”
In his book, An Introduction to Health Policy, Sethi praised France, Canada and Europe’s Socialized Health Care system – aligning more with Bernie Sanders’ socialist policies rather than President Trump’s America First Agenda.
Massachusetts Manny Sethi wanted to work in President Obama’s White House, applying for Obama’s White House Fellows Program. On March 4, 2009, the Obama White House website posted a press release naming Manny Sethi as a Regional Finalist for the Obama White House Fellows Program. As part of his application process, Sethi was required to write a 500 word essay about why he wanted to work for Obama. On May 5, 2009, the Obama White House website posted a press release naming Manny Sethi as a National Finalist for the Obama White House Fellows Program, with his hometown listed as “Brookline, Massachusetts.” The Obama White House Fellows Program was a key part of Manny Sethi’s biography on his Healthy Tennessee website, but it has been scrubbed from the site.
Massachusetts Manny Sethi donated to ActBlue, the left-wing group bankrolling Antifa rioters and Black Lives Matter. He never donated to President Trump in 2016, but he has made multiple donations to liberal Democrats. In 2008, Sethi donated to liberal Democrat Tom Perriello’s congressional campaign.
How liberal is Perriello? He lost his seat in Congress by voting for Obamacare and now is Executive Director of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. Sethi also contributed to Democrat Alice Peisch, who supported Obama and co-sponsored an abortion bill in the Massachusetts State Legislature. Peisch co-sponsored a bill that pro-life advocates said “legalized infanticide” and called an “extreme infanticide act”.
Sethi contributed to the American Medical Association PAC – in 2008, the majority of American Medical Association PAC’s contributions were to Democrats and their top recipient was Barack Obama.
